Position Overview:

As the Account Director, you'll be the cornerstone of client success and operational efficiency. You'll oversee client onboarding, manage strategic initiatives, guide Account Managers, and ensure seamless collaboration across teams.

Project Management & Onboarding:

  • Assign new clients to Account Managers based on industry and workload.

  • Lead client onboarding, communicate processes, and align expectations and set deadlines.

  • Ensure timelines and deliverables are clear and achievable.

  • Maintain detailed onboarding notes and recordings in Trello.

  • Provide hands-on project management support to Account Managers, helping them structure their schedules, prioritize deliverables, and maintain a healthy workload balance.

  • Foster a supportive and personable leadership style to build trust and maintain strong team morale.

 

Client Relations:

  • Conduct client touch-base meetings and monthly analytics reviews.

  • Provide actionable insights and performance analysis.

  • Oversee final handoff processes, ensuring smooth transitions.

 

Creative Oversight:

  • Provide strategic feedback on copy, visuals, and creative assets to align with both current industry trends and client-specific goals.

  • Ensure all creative content meets agency standards and client expectations.

  • Collaborate with creative teams to refine and elevate deliverables.

 

Strategy & Content Oversight:

  • Edit and approve client-facing content for quality and alignment with brand guidelines.

  • Develop and maintain strategic content outlines, including boosting plan decks and last post date decks.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and update strategy materials accordingly.

  • Serve as the agency's expert on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and TikTok, providing hands-on training and guidance to Account Managers on boosting, admin access, and campaign setup.

  • Mentor Account Managers to deepen their technical knowledge and confidence in platform-specific tools and strategies.

 

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Support team performance through regular check-ins, guidance, and performance improvement plans.

  • Participate in hiring, training, and onboarding new team members.

  • Conduct annual and bi-annual reviews in collaboration with leadership.

  • Act as a mentor and approachable team leader, balancing structure with empathy to create a positive and productive team environment.

Administrative & Operational Excellence:

  • Maintain operational tools like Trello, scheduling platforms, and team calendars.

  • Manage team PTO, overtime approvals, and resource allocations

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in account management, project management, or a similar leadership role.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in tools like Trello, Notion, and scheduling platforms.

  • Deep expertise in Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and TikTok, including ad boosting, admin setup, and campaign management.

  • Experience providing constructive creative feedback on copy, visuals, and strategic assets.

  • Experience leading teams, mentoring staff, and fostering professional growth.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to deliver client insights and drive results.

  • A personable and empathetic leadership style, with a focus on building trust and maintaining team morale.
